What are Allflex Lifechip Microchips?
LifeChip microchips offer permanent, unique, and unalterable means of identifying your deer. The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and contains a unique 15 digit number. Each microchip comes with its own 12 gauge application needle. Allflex and TruTest brand EID readers will work to obtain the EID number from any of the LifeChip options. However, to take full advantage of the Bio-Thermo LifeChip, the Destron Fearing GPR+ Global Pocket Reader is needed to obtain the EID number as well as the animal’s temperature.
